When you own a fruit stand you know that your produce has a limited shelf life, and when it’s rotten you can’t sell it.
And for many of us, we are selling our time and if we don’t work today, we can’t sell that lost time tomorrow.
On the flip side, many clients are not signing contracts recently because their future revenue is not quite clear yet.
So how about proposing a win-win situation to any clients that are sitting on proposals and not buying, and offer them a discount?
And since you have limited capacity, you might even make this offer to multiple clients but tell each of them that only the first one who accepts the offer can get the discount.
That may create a little urgency that moves one of them off the fence.
They get something for less than it would cost normally, and by selling your fruit before it goes bad, you will definitely make more money.
