The Next Level

I’ve been sharing information with you on Wednesday mornings for years. And hopefully you find value within the words. Maybe it opens something for you, shifts your perspective, or even just reminds you of something you already know but could benefit from hearing again. Hopefully it lifts you and positions you to keep moving forward.

I look around this Zoom room and I am present to a tremendous amount of accomplishment. There has already been so much production, so much impact. And yet we are all still intent on that moving forward.

So today I want to look ahead. A bit farther down the street. I want us to consider not just what got us here, but what is actually going to get us to THE NEXT LEVEL.

I’ve got five items. And the plan is to dive deeper into all of them in the coming months. But this morning, I’ll touch briefly on each. We all have different businesses so rather than try to match up perfectly, just see what finds you and feels right and don’t worry about the rest. Let them wash over you, awaken you, remind you.

Ok, here we go…

First, we need to cultivate Leadership Mastery (not just management). At the next level, we need to shift from being the operator to being the visionary. That means deepening our understanding of how to inspire, delegate, and grow others.

Second, we need to build Scalable Systems and Automation. Success at the first level often means doing a lot manually. Scaling requires systems. We need to learn how to balance personalization with efficiency.

Third, we need to move from basic financial literacy to strategic financial decision-making. Depending on your business, this could mean forecasting and managing cash flow at scale, raising capital or securing strategic funding, or tax optimization and wealth preservation. Amazingly, we have professionals right here on this call that can help with all of that.

Fourth, we need to be intentional about Brand Positioning and Expansion. To grow beyond the current level, we want to learn how to position the brand as a market leader. Again, we’ve got the right people for that.

And finally, we need to continue to take on Personal Growth and Identity Shifts. This one may be the most overlooked part. For results here, we get to ask the following…

Who do I need to be or become to lead a bigger mission?
What habits, mindsets, and relationships need to shift?
How do I manage my energy, not just my time?

The bottom line is that at the next level, we’re not just growing a business — we’re growing a legacy. And so the learning has to match that. We need to shift from working harder to working smarter, from control to trust, and from success to significance.

It’s an exciting time to be creating. Here’s to each of us, and here’s to all of us.
