Lisa Skye is still Lisa Skye.
She has been our leader, our mentor for 4 1/2 years, guiding our personal growth and development.
She has taught us thru her words, her actions….and her quotes at the bottom of our rosters.
She named us Lucky and taught us:
- ” Luck is where Preparation meets Opportunity”…so said Mamma Skye, who we thank for lending her to us for a while.
- About consistency quoting Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is therefore not an act but a habit”.
- By her actions pointing out Emerson’s thought: “Let your actions speak so loudly people cannot hear your words”.
- And George Bernard Shaw’s opinion: “The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they cannot find them, make them”.
She created our Community here in NYC quoting Epictetus: “The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best”.
She inspired us to accomplish our goals and dreams quoting Goethe: “Whatever you do or dream, begin it now. Boldness has genius, power and magic. Begin it now”.
