Hahahahahahahahah!
Have you ever heard how laughter is contagious?
Well, so is gloominess.
Ever been around a depressing person who just sucks the joy out of a moment?
I want to be around….and do business with energetic and positive people.
Harvey Mackay writes about the topic saying “Happiness isn’t good enough for me! I demand euphoria!”
He says one of life’s greatest tragedies is that the curiosity, enthusiasm and excitement we are born with seem to erode when the challenges of daily life douse our spark of enthusiasm.
Henry Ford said that enthusiasm is at the bottom of all progress.
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said in his book “The Power of Positive Thinking” that the men and women who achieve the most are invariably inspired by enthusiasm.
Dale Carnegie said that “Flaming enthusiasm, backed by horse sense and persistence, is the quality that most frequently makes for success”
Napoleon Hill said “Enthusiasm energizes, refreshes and motivates the person endowed with it.”
So how do you turn gloomy to sunny?
Work at something you love.
Contribute to changing the things you don’t love about your work or your life. Attitude is key in that endeavor.
Negative thinking will not improve the situation. Train your brain to look for the silver lining in things and build upon that. Harvey Mackay says you’ll be amazed at how your improved attitude leads to enthusiasm……which leads to success.
So, go be a Cheer Leader, spread some joy and reap the benefits
