Recently, we learned that we are sitting on a gold mine here at Elevate, and in my presentation yesterday, I alluded to my record breaking gold haul for Q3.
And while reviewing my Closed Business report, I noticed some interesting things when I looked closely at the 200 line items on it.
What I saw was that there were some additional factors that you should consider when looking at the profitability of your gold mine.
First, very few of those transactions were due to introductions that you made in Q3.
The vast majority were repeat business transactions like website updates and maintenance that started with a introduction many years ago.
So the first additional factor for the success of your gold mine is time.
My back story is that when I came to Elevate 9 years ago, I had just started e9digital in poor market conditions, and had very few clients and little revenue.
If I decided to give Elevate one year to prove itself, I would have decided that my effort wasn’t worth the meager gold haul, and I would have left after the first year with 20 introductions and not much closed business.
That’s not bad, but if I did that, I would have never gotten to my record breaking gold haul that I’m now earning in my 10th year.
So your make more money takeaway for today is that you should expect to work in your gold mine for many years before you start to see significant revenue.
But if you put in the effort year after year executing our advanced marketing tactics, your referrals and repeat business will grow exponentially, and you can’t help but make more money.
