Visitors and members, NYC Elevate is a networking community organized to help our members make more money through structured collaboration and referrals.
Recently, we learned that we are sitting on a gold mine here at Elevate, but to make sure you get the gold, you have to work at the mine every week.
And that’s why I never miss a meeting.
I normally schedule my travel…and my illnesses during the weeks we’re scheduled off, but today I’m taking a train to Montreal and it leaves too early to make the meeting and the train.
But seriously, I average only one missed meeting per year, and the reason that’s important is that we have a huge advantage at Elevate in that we have 20 to 30 visitors with us each week, and that visitor might be the perfect person you were looking to meet.
Case in point, a gentleman visited from a large university a couple of years ago. He never visited before and he hasn’t visited since, but he and I connected that day, and now I’ve done about a quarter million dollars with various departments at that university.
Imagine if I wasn’t there that day.
The potential of Elevate is huge for our businesses, and that’s why I clear my schedule every Wednesday and make sure that I attend this meeting, the MC meeting and also get a couple of 121s in.
