NYC Elevate is a million dollar a month networking community organized to help our members make more money through structured collaboration and referrals.
Last week we discussed that it was important to set goals for 2023, but there are a lot of advanced networking tactics that you can employ, but you don’t know how to do them.
Well here’s how.
Networking at the highest level is kind of like solving a Rubik’s cube.
There are 43 Quintillion combinations, so you will never solve it or networking without a plan and without learning new skills.
Last year, my nephew challenged me to solve the cube.
I couldn’t do that day but I told him I could learn how.
So I loaded up YouTube and started watching videos, but I made a big mistake that led to a lot of frustration.
I tried to learn all of the moves to solve it in one shot and that was a lot of information to absorb in a short amount of time.
So by trying to be good at all of the moves all at once, I actually lengthened the time it would take to master it.
Fortunately, I recognized the fallacy of what I was doing, so I went back to the beginning to start again.
I started with Step 1, and solved Step 1, and then scrambled the cube again. I kept doing this until I mastered Step 1.
Then I started learning Step 2, and solved step 1 again, then solved Step 2, and then scrambled the cube again. I kept doing this until I mastered Step 2.
And then I kept at this process, mastering each step, until I mastered all 10 steps, and now I can solve the cube no matter how badly it’s scrambled.
So what does this have to do with Elevate?
Networking and relationship building seems simple enough, but if you want to do it at the highest level and you want to make millions at it, you will need to master the advanced tactics that we teach here at Elevate.
As such, I’ll be going to go back to Step 1 in the coming weeks, and teaching you the 10 steps you’ll need to master to solve the Rubik’s cube of networking.
So stay tuned in the coming weeks, check all the networking boxes on the list, and I guarantee that you will not only master networking, you might also learn to solve the Rubik’s cube.
