It’s not your area of expertise or profession; it doesn’t matter that I’m the top website developer in the city if I don’t have any clients.
So the most important thing that we all do is work to get our next client.
And the easiest and least expensive path to that is Elevate.
To illustrate that, here are my latest stats from my CRM this morning.
My average cost to acquire a client is about $1,800 across all of my marketing methods.
My cost to acquire a client through Elevate is $9, which doesn’t factor the cost of my time.
Now if I factor the cost of my time, then that cost is higher, but it’s nowhere near $1,800.
My closing percentage across all marketing methods is about 30% and that’s pretty good.
But my closing percentage when I’m referred is 60%, and in the last year, referred deals were 64% of my business.
So when I revisit my marketing strategy every month, I am constantly asking myself how I can do better at networking and how I can get more referrals.
